Privacy policy
Your privacy matters to us. Here we explain what personal data we collect when you contact us or hire us, why we do it and what rights you have.
Who is responsible for your data?
LTMA Group AB, which runs Borås Städservice, is the data controller for the processing of your personal data.
- LTMA Group AB, Katrinedalsgatan 13A, 504 51 Borås

What data we process and why
When you request a quote or book cleaning
We collect the details you fill in yourself: name, email address, phone number, address, postcode and town, which service or services you are interested in, preferred date, size of home if given, and the message you write.
Why: to be able to respond to your enquiry, give you a quote and carry out the job you order.
Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you send a message via the contact form
We collect your name, email address and the content of your message.
Why: to be able to answer your question.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling and answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)), or steps prior to entering into a contract if the enquiry concerns a booking.
Confirmation email
When you have submitted a form, we automatically send a confirmation email to the address you gave, so that you know your enquiry has arrived. We use your name and email address for this.
Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
When you apply for a job with us
If you send an unsolicited application by email, we process the details you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, CV and cover letter. Please do not send sensitive data such as information about your health, trade union membership or personal identity number – we do not need it at the application stage.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling recruitment (Article 6(1)(f)).
When you become a customer
We process contact and address details, information about completed jobs and invoicing records. To apply for the RUT deduction on your behalf, we also need your personal identity number – in that case you give it directly to us, never via the website.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation for bookkeeping and tax reporting (Article 6(1)(c)).
When you visit the website
We keep cookie-free visitor statistics on which pages are visited, approximate region, type of device and where the visit came from. The statistics are aggregated and are not used to identify individual visitors.
With your consent, we also use Google Analytics. Read more in our cookie policy, where you can also change your choice.
Legal basis: legitimate interest for the cookie-free statistics (Article 6(1)(f)), consent for Google Analytics (Article 6(1)(a)).
Security in our forms
To prevent spam and misuse, we temporarily store your IP address and the email address the form was sent to. The data is used only to limit the number of submissions and is deleted on an ongoing basis.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the website against misuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
How long do we keep the data?
We never keep data longer than necessary for the purpose.
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Quote and contact enquiries that do not lead to a job | 12 months from your most recent contact |
| Customer details and job history | For the duration of the contract and 12 months afterwards |
| Bookkeeping and invoicing records | 7 years, under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act |
| Unsolicited applications | 6 months after the application was received |
| IP address in the forms' spam filter | 1 hour at most |
| Your cookie choice | 12 months, then we ask again |
Who we share the data with
We never sell your personal data. To run the business, we use a small number of suppliers who process data on our behalf. They are data processors, bound by agreements, and may only use the data to provide the service for us.
- Frontness – handles the forms and visitor statistics on the website.
- Twilio SendGrid – sends the confirmation emails.
- Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics, only if you have consented to analytics cookies.
- Our web hosting provider – stores the website and its server logs.
- Our accounting firm – handles bookkeeping records.
We may also need to disclose data to authorities when required by law.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Google and Twilio SendGrid are US providers, which means that data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses, together with supplementary safeguards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we process about you (a copy of your data).
- Have incorrect data corrected or completed.
- Have data erased, when we no longer have the right to process it. Data we are required by law to keep, such as bookkeeping records, cannot however be erased early.
- Request restriction of processing while a matter is being investigated.
- Object to processing that we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest, including direct marketing.
- Receive your data in a machine-readable format and move it to someone else (data portability).
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent. This does not affect processing that took place before then.
If you want to exercise any of your rights, contact info@borasstadservice.se. We normally reply within one month. To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity before disclosing anything.
If you are not satisfied
If you have comments on how we process your personal data, we would like you to contact us first so that we can sort it out. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), the supervisory authority in Sweden.
Security
The website is protected with encryption (HTTPS) and we have technical and organisational measures in place to protect the data against unauthorised access, loss and alteration. Only staff who need the data for their work have access to it.
Cookies
How we use cookies is described separately in our cookie policy. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we start using a new service. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the latest update at the top.
