Here we explain which cookies we use on borasstadservice.se, why we use them and how you control your consent.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. Among other things, they are used to make the site work, remember your choices and measure how the site is used.

Your consent

We do not set any cookies beyond the necessary ones until you have given your consent. The first time you visit the site, you choose which categories you accept. Your choice is saved for 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change your mind at any time via the link Cookie settings here or at the bottom of every page.

Categories we use

Necessary Always required

Needed for the website to work – for example navigation, form handling, protection against misuse of our forms and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off, as the site does not work without them.

  • bss_cookie_consent – stores your cookie choice. Kept locally in the browser for 12 months.

Analytics Optional

Helps us understand how visitors find and use the site, so that we can improve its content and structure. The statistics are aggregated – we do not use them to identify individuals.

  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_<ID>) – measures page views and visitor flows. Stored for up to 2 years. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. We have enabled IP anonymisation and Google Consent Mode, which means the tracking code is not loaded at all until you have accepted analytics.

Marketing Optional

Used to measure the effect of advertising and to show more relevant ads. We do not currently use any marketing cookies, but if we start to, we will only do so if you have accepted the category.

Visitor statistics without cookies

In addition to the categories above, we keep simple visitor statistics with Frontness Analytics. The tool sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device – it only records which page was viewed and where the visit came from, and counts visitors using a code that changes every day. Since no information is stored on your device and no individual visitor can be identified, this measurement does not require consent, and it therefore continues even if you choose ”Necessary only”. If you would still rather opt out, let us know, or use your browser's tracking protection.

Third-party cookies

Pages that embed content from other services – such as maps or social media – may cause that provider to set its own cookies. We only load such content when it is needed and in line with your consent.

How to delete cookies

You can always delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Bear in mind that some parts of the site may stop working as intended if you block necessary cookies.
